WCH, Sultanate of Magindanaw, and Kingdom of Sumedang Larang Officially Confirmed Brotherhood

22nd October, Sumedang Larang - Following a triumphant mission in Cirebon, the esteemed delegates of the Royal Tour, including HM Sultan Zulkarnain Mastura Kudarat VI, HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, and Bai Salima Mastura, arrived at the Kingdom of Sumedang Larang, where they were met with a warm and gracious reception.

The royal festivities unfurled with the kingdom's traditional warrior dance, leading to a welcome address from His Majesty Sri Radya H.R.I Lukman Soemadisoeria, the reigning king of Sumedang Larang. He shared profound insights into the kingdom’s storied past and spoke of the seven ancient crowns of Asia that arose in the earliest epochs, spanning Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Brunei.

In her address, Queen Mariam, the Maha Putri of the Royal House of Luzon Tagalog and the protagonist of the tour, elaborated on the Royal Tour's mission and unveiled plans for an upcoming WCH Royal Summit in Indonesia, set to grace the year 2025.

Sultan Zulkarnain expressed his vision for a robust partnership with the Kingdom of Sumedang Larang, while Bai Salima conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to both the King and Queen. 

A highlight of the event was the illustrious presentation of the “Greatest Humanitarians of the World” award to Rajah Lukman, recognizing his extraordinary impact and contributions to his community and humanity at large. This prestigious accolade is one of the flagship celebrations organized by We Care for Humanity, often held at the United Nations.

As a symbol of appreciation and brotherhood, Rajah Lucman bestowed medals and pins upon the three Filipino royals.

In a splendid display of hospitality, the king personally escorted the delegates through the palace and museum, culminating in a sumptuous feast.

The program gracefully concluded in the king's historical study room, where they signed a letter of intent, paving the way for a memorandum of understanding, a testament to their newfound alliance.

The signing of the letter of intent marked the beginning of a promising collaboration between the We Care for Humanity, the Sultanate of Magindanaw and the Kingdom of Sumedang Larang. This partnership is expected to foster cultural exchange, economic cooperation, and mutual support in humanitarian efforts. As the delegates departed, there was a sense of renewed hope and shared purpose among the gathered dignitaries.

The royal visit not only strengthened ties between the nations but also highlighted the rich cultural heritage and shared histories of Southeast Asia. It set a precedent for future engagements aimed at advancing peace, prosperity, and understanding across the region.

As the sun set over the ancient kingdom, the echoes of the day's celebrations lingered in the air, a reminder of the enduring bonds of friendship and the bright future ahead for these intertwined legacies.

WCH and Sultanate of Magindanaw’s Royal Summit 2024 at PICC Showcased a Prestigious Gathering of Monarchs, Investors, and Distinguished Royal Guests from Across the Globe

 WCH Royal Summit 2024, hosted by We Care for Humanity and the Royal House of Luzon Tagalog (Royal Maharlika) in collaboration with the Sultanate of Magindanaw Mandanaue Darussalam and chaired by Her Royal Highness Maha Putri Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, in the Philippines, beautifully unfolded a rich tapestry of Monarchs, Investors, and distinguished guests from around the world, all convening under the magnificent roof of the PICC on October 5th.

With representatives from 20 nations—including the USA, Bangladesh, Benin, Brazil, Canada, China, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mali, Moldova, the Philippines, Poland, Senegal, South Africa, Taiwan, Uganda, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam—the summit featured 14 monarchs, including kings, queens, princes, and princesses which include HM Sultan Zulkarnain Mastura Kudarat VI, Supreme Sultan of Magindanaw, HRH Datu Muamar Mastura, The Crown Prince of the Sultanate of Magindanaw, HRH Princess Febraida Mastura Matalam, Royal Princess of Magindanaw, HRM Nana Akomanyi Essandoh V, Sovereign Ruler of Gomoa Odumase, Ghana , HRH Constantine M. Butamanya, King Of Buruuli Kingdom, Uganda, HRH Princess Pulcherie Simpson, Amazon Princess Of Abomey -Benin, HM King Gueye Ndiouga, King of Ndiouga Gueye Lamane Lebous Of Bargny Kingdom, Senegal, HRM Nana Osompa Nyamekye II, King of Gomoa Otaaprow Central Region, Ghana, HH Prince Djissa Houechenou Francois, Prince of Kingdom of Abomey, Benin and YM Princess Iriani Adalci Kuada, Princess of the Kingdom of Siau, Indonesia.


The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by the WCH Humanitarian and Investment Forum, which took place at the Manila Prince Hotel, the summit's official accommodation. The presenters for the Investment Forum include Datu Loloy Reyes, Founder and Chairman Filipino American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston, Mr. Sundeep Kumar Makthala, Chairman of the World Telugu Information Technology Council (WTITC), Mr. I-Chang Yang, Chairman, Taiwan BA Co., Ltd. Director, Green Gold Biotech Canada Co., Ltd., Engr. Datu Esmael Maulana, CEO, EMGVCI, Mr. Power Tran- Founder, Power Charity, and Ms. Carolina De Oliveira Moura, Lawyer & Entrepreneur, Brazil Ambassador, ImPPPact. 

The Humanitarian Forum focused on panels for Peace and Cessation of Wars, Traditional Kingdoms, Indigenous Peoples and the Environment, and Women in Leadership.

To enhance the friendships and collaboration among the Sultanate of Magindanaw, Royal Maharlika, and all the international kingdoms involved, a Signing of Cooperation Agreement was also held.

The main event kicked off with the much-anticipated Royal Grand Entrance, a beloved tradition of the summit. This was followed by motivational speeches from the Monarchs. Additionally, welcome messages were presented by Chief Peter Pardo on behalf of Pasay City Mayor, Hon. Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, and by Las Pinas Congresswoman, Hon. Camille Villar, who shared her greetings through a video message.

During his welcoming remarks, Sultan Zulkarnain expressed, “I extend a warm welcome to all, especially our foreign delegates who have joined us for this summit. I also congratulate all the honorees of this year's celebration. The Sultanate of Magindanaw takes pride in partnering once again with We Care for Humanity and Royal Maharlika for this magnificent Royal Summit.”

The award ceremony commenced with the crowning of the Men and Women of the Year. The honorees were recognized not only for their philanthropic efforts but also for their remarkable ability to inspire positive change and uplift those in their community. The recipients included Hadja Bai Laida Managantal Sawadjaan , Rmt, Tran Thuy Ha, Lola Smallen, HRH Princess Febraida Mastura Matalam, Hrh Princess Harjida Mastura Karon, Hrh Princess Jasma Mastura Karon, Bai Ali Sansaluna Karon Al-Haj, Shealyn Vo, Princess Carol Lerole, Bai Rahima Emma Hassan Alhaj, Nurjanah Mohamad Tambag, Johairen Mohamad Camin, Albert Wu, Datu Guiambangan Jimmy L. Asim, Datu Abdulgani Abubakar , Vu Viet Chien, Dr. Abubacar Mastura Datumanong, Vladimir Palancica  and Shiekh Mohamad Ali Mamondiong. 


This was succeeded by the Knights of the Royal Maharlika, who are dedicated Protectors of the Earth, Peacebuilders, and Change-Makers. The members of this Order adhere to a code that highlights values of love, unity, integrity, and compassion. The new knights are: HH Princess Iriani Adalci Kuada, Honorable Asif A. Chowdhury, Hon. Ponnala Lakshmaiah, HM King Gueye Ndiouga, HM Guide Bamba Mahamed, HRM Nana Osompa Nyamekye Ii, HM  Prince Djissa Houechenou Francois , Gen Dr. Sevillo B. Tamayo, HD, Maffi Papin Carrion and Ms. Pam Phan. 

Following that, the program featured the Royal Investiture. To enhance the influence of the Royal Maharlika and the Sultanate of Maguindanao, HRH Queen Maria Amor appointed new Cabinet Members of the Royal Maharlika and Ambassadors of the Sultanate from various nations to act as representatives. Notable appointments included Archt. Rey John Marañon Lorca, Advocate Carolina De Oliveira Moura, Vladimir Palancica, Gen. Lucrecio Guerra Pingkian, and Gen. Attorney Candelaria L. Rivas, J.D.


One of the key highlights of the event was the Royal Enthronement of the Royal House of Luzon Tagalog, conducted in accordance with Royal Decree No. 005 Series of 2023. This expansion of the Sultanate of Magindanaw's territorial authority also marked the revival of the ancient Kingdom of Luzon. Prominent Filipino figures were honored as members of the royal house, beginning with the esteemed Honorable Imelda Papin, the Director of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), former Vice Governor of Camarines Sur and a renowned legendary singer of the Philippines who has been crowned as Lakambini ng Metro Manila. Another notable figure, Archt. Rey John Marañon Lorca, the founder and president of Lorcatecture Corporation, currently serves as a Cabinet Member of the Royal Maharlika and has been honored with the title of Lakan Datu ng Makati.



A significant highlight of the event was the unveiling of a portrait painted by QM, which features the Honorable Ponnala Lakshmaiah, the former President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee and former Minister of the Government of Andhra Pradesh (1991-1993 and 2004-2014). QM, the artistic name adopted by HRH Queen Mariam, the founder of We Care for Humanity, is a distinguished artist known for her work in immortalizing prominent figures, including kings, popes and presidents from various nations.

To enhance the festivities, esteemed members of the Sultanate and SKDOP graced the stage in a competition for the titles of King and Queen of the Summit, recognizing the best-dressed individuals of the evening. Johairen Mohamad Camin won the title of Queen of the Summit 2024.

The evening was a spectacle of opulence and captivating performances, featuring the Maguiranun Traditional Dance and Music Ensemble, the Amazing Colorguards, finalist Ms. Jessa Mae Gallemaso from Tanghalan ng Kampeon, opera singer Janina Lorelei, and a surprise mini-concert by one of the Philippines' finest singers, Hon. Imelda Papin together with her daughter-actress Maffi Papin Carrion and 2 sisters.

The success of the event relies heavily on the incredible efforts of the committees and volunteers. WCH and Sultanate of Magindanaw Extended Humanitarian Aid to Markadz Al-arfadz Orphanage Center in the Spirit of Ramadan

COTABATO- Following the successful "Kanduli" (thanksgiving) event, which featured the Sultan of Magindanaw's “stepping on white dust ritual”, the We Care for Humanity (WCH) team and the Maguindanao Royal Family offered humanitarian assistance to the Markadz Al-arfadz Orphanage Center on March 11, 2024, in the spirit of Ramadan.

Since 2022, the U.S.-based non-profit organization WCH has been involved in charitable initiatives in Mindanao in partnership with the Sultanate of Magindanaw. 

Leading the delegation was HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, the WCH founder, who presented the organization's mission and dedication to aiding the orphanage.

His Majesty Zulkarnain Mastura VI, the 26th Supreme Sultan of Magindanaw, along with other cultural leaders:  Datu Habib Mastura- Secretary General of SKDOP, H. Datu Suod Ibrahim- Daram sa Magindanaw, Datu Jimmy Asim- Datu Mompong sa Kutawato sa Magindanaw, Datu Jordan Sinsuat- Datu Dikaya III, Datu Alee Uy- Marajalayla Salamen Magindanaw, Datu Zainudin Anan Kabulan- Datu Lawan na Datu Dikaya, HRH Febs Mastura Matalam, Royal Princess sa Magindanaw, HRH Jasma Mastura Karon- Rajah Bai sa Magindanaw, HRH Harjida Mastura Karon- Bailaga sa Magindanaw, Fatima Abdulrakman- Bailawan sa Dikaya and foreign guest, Dr. Abdalla Sharief- Datu Marajalaila sa UN, who is also the president of United Nations Correspondents Association of Vienna (UNCAV), shared uplifting messages during the visit.

Ustadz Al-faradh Markadz expressed gratitude for the support and congratulated the newly enthroned Sultan on his prosperous reign.

The collaboration between the We Care for Humanity and the Sultanate of Magindanaw has significantly benefited the Markadz Al-arfadz Orphanage Center. During this 2nd visit, essential supplies such as rice and groceries were provided to support the orphanage's needs during Ramadan.

Their generous humanitarian gestures have truly embodied the spirit of Ramadan, bringing hope and joy to the underprivileged children.

WCH and Sultanate of Maguindanao Distribute Food Aid to Hundreds of Families in Sultan Kudarat

 

Lebak, Sultan Kudarat- Amidst the vibrant landscapes of Lebak, in the province of Sultan Kudarat, another wondrous event unfolded with the help of We Care for Humanity and the Sultanate of Maguindanao. The GLOBAL SANTA MINDANAO FOOD DISTRIBUTION, 2023, an annual humanitarian endeavor, enfolded more than a hundred families in its warm embrace. The auspicious event was graced by the presence of His Majesty Sultan Salem Mastura Kudarat V, the 25th Supreme Sultan of Magindanaw, the Royal Ladies and Datus of the Sultanate. 

This initiative, held under the patronage of HRH Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, founder of WCH and the Head of the Royal House of Luzon Tagalog and the Royal Maharlika, reflects the unwavering commitment of the Sultanate to the well-being of its people in Mindanao, and of WCH to alleviate hunger.

The families that were present at the charity event were overjoyed to receive food and necessities that they otherwise might have gone without. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on the faces of the children as they received their gifts from the "Santa Claus" of humanity. 

"The event was not just about giving food, but also about spreading love and kindness in the community."- said the late Sultan of Maguindanao.
